Infrastructure & Hosting
Building and maintaining a small self-hosted stack with TrueNAS, nginx, Cloudflare Tunnel, uptime monitoring, and future lab services.
About
I’ve spent my career in operations-heavy environments where keeping systems moving matters—first in transportation/logistics, now in leadership roles managing teams, priorities, and real-time problem solving. More recently, I’ve been channeling that same systems mindset into infrastructure, networking, homelab projects, and web hosting.
What I’m Building
This site is part of that process. It is self-hosted on a TrueNAS system using nginx and Cloudflare Tunnel, giving me a live environment to practice deployment, routing, monitoring, documentation, and web development.
I’m also using the site to organize front-end builds, JavaScript projects, networking labs, and infrastructure notes so the portfolio grows alongside the skills behind it.
Current Focus
Building and maintaining a small self-hosted stack with TrueNAS, nginx, Cloudflare Tunnel, uptime monitoring, and future lab services.
Practicing network fundamentals through Packet Tracer labs, VLAN concepts, routing, segmentation, and troubleshooting.
Refreshing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while connecting that work to physical security, access control, CCTV, and practical systems thinking.
